If you give a toddler a cake.. oh goodness. Should have known better. BUT, I decided I'd be a nice Madre and gave Olivia some cake and she made the BIGGEST mess.. ever. Hahaha. Love her, though!

My brother, Bobby, decided to take Olivia to the ocean (the nasty gulf, lol) while I was at my parents this past weekend. He is the BEST brother a girl could ask for and he is the most AMAZING Uncle to Olivia. So thankful for him & love the crap out of him!

Long Time No Blog..

Long time no blog, eh? I have been SUPER DUPER busy, so I'm sorry to the few people that actually read this blog. Well, for starters I'm at the airport making time for this post. This weekend I went to my parents house to visit (without Olivia) and now I'm leaving. ): So sad. I'd probably stay way longer if it weren't for school, work, and the fact that I didn't bring Olivia! My parents are the absolute best.

Well I should probably get going, as my flight is soon. :-)

Who was the birthday girl?!

Whaattt?!?! A four year old!? Are you kidding me?

On August 10th Miss. Olivia turned FOUR! Are you for shizzles?! Where have the past 4 years gone?! Seems like just the other day she was born! But wow, is she growing up SO fast. We had a family get together at my parents house in Lubbock, it was such a long, tiring drive but it was so worth it. :). Olivia had a blast and I can't lie, I did too! These past 4 years have been pretty tough.. but who said raising a baby alone while being a teen was easy, right? The challenges we have faced have shown me that us 2 girls can conquer the world! -- or that's how I'm feeling right now anyways. :).

Summer days! :).

Oh the joys of summer days with no child. Let's just say I can do things I can't do while I have Olivia with me! Like today. A nice day at the pool with some of my BFF's and some drinks. Ooh, how relaxing! Oh and a plus? I got a nice tan! What a great way to spend a gorgeous yet extremely hot day!? [This is when I insert a picture, right?]

Should I stay or should I go?

"Should I stay or should I go now? If I go there will be trouble. And if I stay there will be double. So come on and let me know. Should I stay or should I go?" Oh, some 80's music. What's sad is I wasn't even born then.. haha. But this song is kind of what I'm feeling right now.. Olivia gets home Wednesday afternoon from Brett's. And sometime soon we have to drive to Lubbock for her birthday party. But the big question is should I go Thursday.. or should I go next week? Hmm.. what to do, what to do? Decisions, decisions!

On a better note, to get my mind off of this long ass drive of 8 hours-- (What kind of parents move 8 hours away from their daughter, son, and granddaughter? Obviously mine!) -- anyways, as I was saying.. I'm going to lay out at the pool all day long with some gal-pals and boy-toys! ;) Be jealous.. very jealous! Hope everybody else's day is fun and exciting and maybe even relaxing!?.

Work= Blah. Money= :).

So the title of this post basically explains what the details in this post will consist of. Let me just get to the point. Work is blah. Especially on slow days like today. Yes, I'm at work and yes, I do work! Work, work, work. Monday-Friday and sometimes Saturdays (I feel like it's taking over my life! haha. Just kidding.) But all this work is paying off because I'm getting $chachingg$. Yay for money! Money brings this girl some happiness.. but then again, who doesn't it bring happiness to?! You know what else brings this girl happiness? Miss. Olivia! But she's not here right now so I'm feeling a little down in the dumps. Right now I'm just counting down the days until Wednesday when Liv gets home (and until August 10th)! Hurry up weekend, hurry up. Y'all take care. <3


PS. WHAT!?! Amy Winehouse is DEAD!? You're kidding me right? Love that girl's music. She was a talented singer. Rest in peace!

Signature?!

Whoo hoo! I figured out how to make a signature. Yeah buddy! What do y'all think of the signature's font? Keep it or change it? I think I'm slowly getting the hang of this blogging stuff.. 3 blogs in one day, wowzers! That'll all change once my Liv gets home from her daddy's. I'll end up probably doing 3 blogs a month.. or even a year. Haha! But you know, maybe I'll surprise myself!? Take care everybody!

Summer, why do you have to go so soon?

Summer, why do you have to leave so soon? Feels like yesterday I was getting out for the break.. and now I'm having to shop for school because it's starting back in less than a month. Something is not right about that. How about a year break? or.. a lifetime break? Yep, I'll take either one of those! Well, this summer has been one of the busiest summers yet! They seem to get busier and busier as I get older and older.. But having a toddler isn't slowing down the busyness (is that a word?)!

Olivia is a mischievous wee one, getting into quite possibly everything she can get herself into. She has hit the 'diva' stage.. and is Miss. Priss, that's for certain! She thinks her birthday is every day when she wakes up.. singing 'Happy Birthday' to herself every morning. I try to tell her that it's about 20 days away, but she insists it's that day and demands for her presents! Oh, silly girl. :). I can't believe that in 20 days I will have a 4 year old. Where has the time gone!?
